Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes when homes are available through no-kill shelters. Healthy adult cats unsocialized to humans are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers who act as their caretakers.

Feral Fixers is an organization dedicated to practicing and promoting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in DuPage County, Illinois. If you have free-roaming cats in your neighborhood, please contact Feral Fixers for more information and assistance.
